I think podcasts are really, really cool.
It’s oral storytelling but on steroids.
Humans have learned through this medium for thousands of years.
Podcasts are a potent form of oral storytelling.
You can listen to them anywhere.
In the car. At the gym. Before bed.
They naturally organize into niches with strong sub-cultures.
It's a community, a container for a set of ideas.
And I think the market for podcasts is growing. Quick.
And like how we can never have too many books. We can’t have too many podcasts.
If you have something important to say, then you should say it. Maybe podcasts are the way to do that.
I think creating a podcast is useful because
- It forces you to clarify your thinking
- Improves your communication skills
- Develops your brand
- And so much more
It’s less about catering to an audience and more about fulfilling our own curiosity.
Then sharing what we learned with everyone. Sharing. That's the essence of it.
So I am going to give it a shot.
A podcast exploring balanced entrepreneurship. I read a book a week about an entrepreneur/great figure from both the Western & Eastern worlds.
I'll share important ideas, perspectives, and behaviours that you can apply immediately to your own life.
The ambition of the West meets the harmony of the East. All in one place.
The first few episodes come out in May 2023
